LAHORE, May 1: Trials to select Under-19 players for the PCB Regional academies/coaching clinics will be held at eight different centres between May 4 and May 14.

The regional academies are likely to begin from June 1.

The national selection committee headed by Aamir Sohail will conduct the trials.

Players born on or after Sept 1, 1984 are eligible to appear in the trials.

The trials has been arranged according to the new domestic structure in which eight regions have been formed. The teams of these regions will be taking part in the first class cricket from next season.

Following are the regions and the programme of the trials:

LAHORE REGION (May 4-5): Gaddafi Stadium. All three zones and Kasur. KARACHI REGION (May 4-5): At Academy Ground, National Stadium ( All seven zones).

HYDERABAD REGION (May 6-7): Rani Bagh Ground, Hyderabad ( Hyderabad, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Nawabshah, Shikarpur, Dadu, Thatta, Badin).

FAISALABAD REGION (May 6-7): Jawad Stadium, Faisalabad ( Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Jehlum, Jhang, Bhakhar, Hafizabad).

RAWALPINDI-ISLAMABAD REGION (May 9-10): Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (Rawalpindi, Islamabad, AJK, Sargodha, Mianwali, Attock).

MULTAN REGION (May 9-10): Multan Cricket Stadium (Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, Okara, Rajanpur, Vehari, Khanewal).

PESHAWAR REGION (May 11-12): Arbab Niazi Stadium (Peshawar, Haripur, Abbotabad, Manshera, Kohat, D. I. Khan, Mardan, Swabi, Bannu, Swat, Chitral, Nowshera, Charsada, Fata, Northern Areas).

QUETTA REGION (May 13-14): Ayub Stadium, Quetta (Quetta, Sibi, Kalat, Turbat, Naseerabad, Pishin, Chaghi, Lorali, Killa Abdullah, Chaman).
