PARIS, April 24: The US economy is set to recover sharply in the next six months, growing this year by 2.5 per cent and by 4.0 per cent next year, freed from uncertainty over war in Iraq and boosted by weak oil prices, the OECD forecast on Thursday.
But interest rates are likely to rise and the dollar seems set on a weak trend, the OECD said in a six-month report.—AFP
