LAHORE, April 23: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has again appointed  the celebrated national skipper Mohammad Noor Jehan as chief selector.

Jehan had been appointed chief selector in 1995 and he held the post till two foreign coaches John Layton and Joseph  Herel, provided by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to PFF took over and the post of chief selector was abolished.

Since the AFC recalled the coaches, PFF reverted to reinstate its old system of having a selection committee.

Jehan is leaving for Bannu  on Thursday to watch the matches of the 46th national championship to be started there from Friday.
