KARACHI, April 23: The Maritime Security Agency has apprehended four Indian boats with 20 members of the crew on board while fishing illegally in Pakistani waters.

The boats mostly come into the country’s exclusive economic zones to catch fish in the area rich in living resources of Indus delta.

MSA ship MSS Barkat was on patrol in the eastern maritime region when it found the boats illegally fishing 55km inside national waters.

The boats were handed over to the Dock police station on Tuesday for legal action, an MSA press release said on Wednesday.—PPI
