HSBC seminar

KARACHI, April 23: Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation held a seminar on changing financial environment in Pakistan to keep its customers abreast of the latest changes and developments taking place in the financial market.

Addressing the seminar held last week Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Pakistan Mr Tim Waring said through such seminars the HSBC provides its customers local insight and solution tailored to meet their business needs in a dynamic environment, says a press release.

Treasurer of the bank Mr Mumtaz Yousuf presided over a question and answer session that revolved round the present exchange and interest rates and their future direction. The audience was updated abut recent micro and macroeconomic developments, anticipated changes and the potential overall impact on the business environment, with a particular emphasis on importers and exporters.
