Pre-arrest bail cancelled

SAHIWAL, April 21: An additional district and sessions judge on Monday cancelled pre-arrest bail of an accused involved in a dacoity case. The accused escaped from court after hearing it.

The Noorshah police had registered a case against Pir Ajam Shah Khagga and his seven accomplices on the charge of plundering valuables worth Rs155,000 from a trader’s house at Tibbi Jai Singh village on the night of Feb 8. They injured trader Muhammad Anwar, who is still being treated at a hospital.

The accused obtained his pre-arrest bail, which was cancelled by a court. — Correspondent
