NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 20: Two persons, who were fleeing after opening fire on three men and injuring them, were killed in a police encounter in Sadiq Lakho village near Bhirya on Sunday.

Mohammad Ali Ujjan, Haider Ali Ujjan and Rahim Kalhoro were injured when Arbab Dahri and a Rind tribesman opened fire on them while they were working in their fields.

The police deputed at a nearby picket rushed to the spot and in the exchange of fire, Arbab Dahri and the Rind tribesman were killed.

The bodies were taken to the Bhirya police station and the injured were admitted to the Naushahro Feroze Civil Hospital in a critical condition.

The attack is said to the result of an old enmity.
