Sajjad wins AJK Bar polls
MUZAFFARABAD, April 19: Raja Sajjad Ahmed Khan, an advocate from Bagh district, was elected vice-chairman of the AJK Bar Council, here on Saturday.
Polling was conducted by Additional Advocate-General Ejaz Gillani and Bar Council Secretary Shaukat Awan at the MLA hostel. All 36 members of the council, who were elected on March 27 for a five-year term, cast vote.
Raja Sajjad, stated to be affiliated with the People’s Party, defeated Chaudhry Mansab Dad by 10 votes.
