PESHAWAR, April 19: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has written off Rs271,206 dues which were recoverable on account of fine imposed on some 173 individuals falling under its Lakki division’s jurisdiction.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, Pesco chief executive Brig Tahir Saeed Malik issued directives vis-a-vis writing off the above mentioned amount from electricity consumers in various sub-divisions of the company’s Lakki division.
The fine money was written off during an open katchery (open hearing) wherein electricity consumers made their cases before the Pesco chief executive.
