SUKKUR, April 15: Sindh Population Welfare Minister Dr Saeeda Malik has said a law to abolish the custom of Karo-kari will soon be presented in the Sindh Assembly.
Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, she termed Karo-kari un-Islamic.
She deplored Karo-kari had claimed many lives in the province.
The minister said a number of projects for the welfare of women had been started which would help alleviate poverty of women.
