One killed in Indian shelling

MUZAFFARABAD, April 12: An ex-armyman was killed and another person critically wounded on Saturday in the southern Poonch district of Azad Kashmir in unprovoked Indian shelling.

Said Mohammad Khan, 62, son of Ali Akbar Khan, a retired subedar of Pakistan Army, died on the spot when fragments of a mortar shell hit him in Batal village, a police officer told Dawn.
