ECB Level-I course concludes

KARACHI, April 12: The five-day ECB Level-I cricket coaching course, organized and conducted by Customs Cricket Academy, attracted 17 coaches from all over the country.

At the conclusion of the course, a certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Pakistan Customs Cricket Club premises here the other day.

Ex-Member of Customs, Mr Khalil Masood, who was the chief guest on the occasion, gave away the certificates to the participates.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khalil congratulated the Customs Cricket Academy for organizing such a big event and advised the attending coaches to impart the knowledge gained in this course to all those who are unaware of the latest methods.

Mr Khalil asserted that the various academies run by qualified coaches can play a vital role in development of players at grass root level.

Former Test fast bowler Jalaluddin, event director and tutor of the course, highlighted the salient features of the course.

Javed Raza, vice-chairman of the Customs Cricket Academy, said that the academy has already held eight such courses.

Besides Jalaluddin, the ECB Level-I course was conducted by former World Cup player Iqbal Sikander and first-class cricketer Shahid Aslam.

Following participated in the course:

Sadiq Mohammad, Ehteshamuddin, Saeed Azad, Rashid Iqbal, Saghir Abbas, Aamir Iqbal, Ameeruddin, Athar Laeeq, Zafar Ahmed, Tanvir Ali, Irfan Shaikh, Bharat Kumar, Munir Ashraf, Abdul Aziz, Sultan Meghani, Hanif Yousuf, Kiran Baloch and Shahnaz Sohail.
