QUETTA, April 12: Lawyers, on the call of the Balochistan Bar Association (BBA), boycotted lower courts here on Saturday to protest against what they called bad treatment of judges with lawyers during the hearings in courts.

BBA President Ali Ahmed Kurd advocate told a group of newsmen that lawyers did not attend hearings in lower courts for one hour on Saturday to register their protest as counsel were not treated properly in courts and justice was delayed in disposing of cases.

MURDER ROW RESOLVED: A jirga comprising notables of different tribes resolved a murder dispute between Sadaat and Hazara tribes and the rival groups have accepted the judgment of the jirga.

Syed Arif was killed in a clash between Sadaat and Hazara tribes two years ago over a dispute.
