ATTOCK, April 8: Four persons, including Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital chairman Lt-Gen Jahandad Khan (retired), were injured in a road accident on main GT Road in the jurisdiction of Saddar police station Hassanabdal, on Tuesday.

Police sources said that the car (RIV-9610) of the former Sindh governor he was travelling in along with Dr Fazlur Rahman and Saleem collided with a Suzuki pick-up (RIM-5952) coming from the opposite direction near Ghudagarsheen village. The General was on his way to Rawalpindi from his native village Mulhu.

As a result Gen Jahandad Khan, Dr Fazlur Rahman, Saleem and Mumtaz Khan, the driver of the pick-up, were injured who were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital, Hassanabdal.
