KARACHI: Worker dies in factory

KARACHI, April 8: A worker died while working in a factory in Manghopir Road on Tuesday.

The police said Amanullah, aged 23, a worker in a pipe factory situated in Manghopir Road, died when he got entangled in a pipe-cutter machine. He died on the spot.

The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.

ARRESTED: The police arrested on Tuesday a bandit who was fleeing after committing a robbery in Shahrah-i-Liaquat area.

The police said two bandits came to the apartment of Shaharyar Dawood in Sufi Building. One of the bandits barged into the apartment while the other stood guard outside.
