KARACHI, April 4: A man committed suicide in Surjani Town late Thursday night.

The police said Abdul Rahim, aged 45, consumed a lubricant used in automobiles. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. He was suffering from kidney trouble.

FOUND DEAD: A boy who had been missing since Thursday evening was found dead in Bhittaiabad, near the airport, on Friday.

The police said Ali Raza, aged 13, had been missing from near his house in Bhittaiabad since Thursday evening. Sharfuddin lodged an FIR at Airport police station about the disappearance of his son. On Friday the boy was found dead in the bushes at Bhittaiabad.

People living in the area brought the boy’s body to a private hospital in Gulistan-i-Jauhar’s block 14. Later, the body was sent to the JPMC for post- mortem, the police said.
