KARACHI, March 31: Five ships carrying containers and to load ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly active where a total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 14,818 tons of export cargo and 89,125 tons of import tonnage, notably oils was handled.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Bunga Masempat, Kota Intan to unload and load containers, Tyih to offload sunflower seeds, Northstar Anvil and Al-Cyonida, to unload high speed diesel and crude oil were berthed.

Four ships, Kota Teguh, Ocean Starlight, Bunga Masempat and Macler departed, while Kota Intan, Eastern Victory, Al-Cyonida, Northstar Anvil and PONL Singapore are due to sail out on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Tuesday, Bruce Park, with chemicals, Chem Princess, to load 2,000 tons of ethanol, Manhattan Bridge, Oriental Bright, Sima Bahar with containers.
