SUKKUR, March 30: Sindh Home Minister Sardar Ahmad here on Saturday said a force would be deployed on border areas of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan.

Talking to newsmen at the circuit house on Saturday, the minister said initially 2,500 personal would be recruited in the border force.

He said the recruited personal would be deployed in their respective border areas after proper training. The Sindh government itself would raise funds for the training and remuneration of the personnel, he added.

He said meetings between police officers of Sindh and Balochistan were being held to materialise the proposal.

The Sindh minister also met a delegation, comprising Sukkur District Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, MPA Nasrullah Baloch and others.
