KARACHI, March 30: “The US-led unilateral attack on Iraq is totally against international law. It will be a long war.

This was said by chairman Pakistan-China Solidarity Front, Syed Zia Abbas, while addressing a meeting of writers, politicians, lawyers and businessmen on Sunday in Karachi.

He said the US and UK forces had set a new record in aerial bombardment of Baghdad on Friday night, killing hundreds of innocent Iraqi people. He added that a large number of people in Iraq were dying because they had no food or medicine following the invasion of their country.

He said the attack on Iraq had threatened world peace and could also affect the South Asian region.—PPI
