KARACHI, March 30: The Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) will organize the first national seminar on hormonal disorders at the Aga Khan Hospital here on April 12.
Secretary Scientific Committee of the Society, Zaman Shaikh, said the seminar would have two sessions; the first session in the morning would have lectures on diabetes, short stature, hirsutism (excessive hair growth in women), osteoporosis, lipid and thyroid disorders, and in the second the participants would discuss the topics of calcium, metabolism, hypogonadism, cushing syndrome and acromegaly.—APP
