KARACHI, March 29: Mr Sabihuddin Ghausi and Mr Khurshid Abbasi were elected President and General Secretary of the Karachi Press Club, respectively, for the year 2003-4. Mr Ghausi bagged 317 votes while Mr Abbasi polled 319 votes in the elections held on Saturday.

Mr Khurshid Tanvir was elected as Vice-President (370), Moosa Kaleem as Treasure (303) and Abid Hussain as Joint Secretary (300).

Members Governing Body are: A. H. Khanzada (347), Arman Sabir (282), Zeb Azkar Hussain (303), Shujauddin Qureshi (219), Shahid Iqbal (268), Abul Hassan (278) and Shabana Shafiq (297).
