KARACHI: Body set up on police reforms


KARACHI, March 27: The Sindh government has re-constituted the cabinet’s sub-committee on regularization of contract doctors and admission of students to medical colleges.

The re-constituted committee will be headed by the education minister. The ministers of planning and development, works and services and population welfare will be its members.

The Sindh government also reconstituted a sub-committee for the implementation of police reforms.

The committee, headed by Home Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed, will consider the adoption of the Punjab model and recommend reorganization of the police.

SAZDA: The Sindh government has constituted a sub-committee to consider the issue of the Sindh Arid Zone Development Authority.—APP
