PPP condemns Allegations against Benazir

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, March 26: A PPP spokesperson has said that through allegations of corruption against Benazir Bhutto the NAB has once again regurgitated the fiction of Swiss bank accounts.

“As before, the PPP dismisses with contempt the allegations of the NAB,” the spokesman in response to the NAB’s corruption allegations against Ms. Bhutto said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

“The so-called bank accounts case is based on alleged corruption in the pre-shipment inspection contracts awarded by the PPP government to Swiss firms.

“The PPP wishes to remind that SC has already dismissed the case, ruling that the bias of the trail judge was so obvious that it floated on the surface of the record. Shortly before the ruling, a newspaper blew the cover off the notorious tapes scandal revealing how the judges were induced by the government.
