DERA ISMAIL KHAN: 50 students held

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, March 26: Police arrested more than 50 students of law college affiliated with Gomal University as they continued their protest on the second consecutive day here on Wednesday.

The students were demanding the removal of the college principal, release of students held during the protest and withdrawal of cases against their colleagues.

The students held a protest demonstration in front of Gomal University and blocked the road for traffic. However, the police resorted to baton charge to disperse the students and restore traffic.
