KARACHI, March 25: Ijaz Ahmed Junior and Naved Latif hits sparkling half centuries as Allied Bank Limited (ABL) stormed in the last four stage of the NBP One-day Patron’s Cup when they easily defeated Karachi Whites by six wickets at UBL Sports Complex Ground on Tuesday.

Ijaz and Naved put on 131 runs for the fourth wicket in 139 balls as ABL overhauled Karachi Whites’ total of 236 for nine in the 43rd over, scoring 238 for the loss of four wickets in this quarterfinal match.

Former Test paceman and current national junior coach Aaqib Javed grabbed two wickets for 28 runs. Fellow pacer Tanvir Ahmed claimed two for 56 and slow left-arm armer Mohammad Zahid got two for 47.
