SHIKARPUR: Boy killed in accident

SHIKARPUR, March 25: A boy, Akash, 12, was killed after being hit by a truck near Mehar Shah Jo Qubo locality here on Tuesday.

Akash had come along with his parents to attend a marriage ceremony and was riding a bicycle. The driver escaped, leaving behind his truck.

The Stuart Ganj police have registered a case and arrested the cleaner of the truck.

LIFE TERM: The fifth additional sessions judge, Khan Mohammad Kolachi, awarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs100,000 to Shahzado Kori in the murder case of Liaquat Kori.
