KARACHI: KBCA assurance

KARACHI, March 25: The Karachi Building Control Authority has assured the owners of private hospitals and schools and marriage halls that every possible concession would be granted to them regarding fines imposed for regularization.

In a meeting of the authority, attended by representatives of Private Schools Association, Private Hospitals Association and Marriage Halls Association, it was decided that fees of such buildings would be charged on the basis of schedule of residential buildings.

KBCA officers said that the master plan department of the city government would be requested to rationalize the commercialization fees.—PPI/APP
