PCB gets Cup report from committee

ISLAMABAD, March 24: The Naushad committee constituted to review Pakistan’s poor World Cup performance, has submitted its report.

Naushad Ali, the committee’s chairman said that he submitted the report to the head of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Lt. Gen Tauqir Zia on Monday.

“I have had a two-hour meeting with the general and explained to him the committee’s viewpoint and how we had gone about compiling the report.”

Tauqir will now study the report over the next “two or three” days following which he is likely to make it public.

The committee also had Aaqib Javed and Sultan Rana as members and had begun work in earnest on March 8.
