MIRPURKHAS, March 24: District Nazim Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani has said that a seminar will be held in the first week of April here to guide mango growers about modern ways of fruit crop cultivation.

He was speaking at the launching ceremony of new mango variety Jageerdar, held here at the Sindh Horticulture Research Institute on Saturday. He said that the institute had played a vital role in introduction of new mango varieties.

Earlier, Dr Atta Hussain Soomro, the director of the institute, apprised participants about new mango variety.

RECOVERED: The Kot Ghulam Mohammad police arrested Mohammad Hassan Bhurgari in village Degan Bhurgari and recovered an abducted girl.
