KARACHI, March 24: The head office of Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research will be shifted to Islamabad by May this year.

According to a circular, the governing body of the PCSIR has decided to shift all officers and staff of the head office in Islamabad from May 1.

However, three categories of staffers have been given an option to be shifted to any of the units of the PCSIR provided a clear vacancy exists there.

They are: i) women whose husbands will not be accompanying them; ii) all staff members in BPS 1 to 7 and iii) drivers.

These categories will exercise their options in writing by April 10,” said the circular.—APP
