KARACHI: Turkish army commander

KARACHI, March 24: General Tamer Akbas, Commander of Turkish 3rd Army, called on Admiral Shahid Karimullah, chief of the Naval Staff, at the Naval Headquarters here on Monday.

General Tamer Akbas remained with the chief of the Naval Staff for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.

The meeting focused on a review of the existing ties in the defence field and exploring new avenues to further enhancement.—APP
