Education for All


SARGODHA, March 23: District Nazim Malik Amjad Ali Noon has said that the district government will introduce quality education in Sargodha under the Education for All programme in collaboration with Unicef and the Norway government.

Talking to reporters, the Nazim said the existing infrastructure would be utilized to achieve the targets of the programme. Parents would be persuaded by NGOs, Nazims and councillors to get their children admitted to schools.

The Nazim said that 41 per cent of children in Sillanwali Tehsil, 37 per cent in Sahiwal Tehsil, 36 per cent in Shahpur and 32 per cent in Bhalwal did not attend school, and would be targeted by the programme. — Correspondent
