KARACHI, March 20: Four ships carrying palm oil, containers and steel coils are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, PONL Malindi, Al-Wajba and Hyundai Sprinter, to offload and load containers, Regine to unload general cargo and Al-Cyonida, to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Sima Bahar, APL Dalian, Hyundai Sprinter, Regine and Sibi, while Al-Wajba, Al-Cyonida, MOL Sincerity and Stolt Alliance are due to sail out on Friday.

Owing to larger handling of the liquid cargo, the total tonnage rose to 84,914 tons comprising 10,040 tons of export cargo and 74,874 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Mina, with 5,000 tons of palm oil, Kota Tegap, Wan Hai-301, with containers and Dignity-T, with steel coils.
