PPP flays POL price rise

MIRPURKHAS, March 16: The Pakistan People’s Party has rejected the increase in petroleum prices, saying that it will increase poverty in the society.

Talking to a delegation of party leaders, PPP MNA Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur said that third consecutive increase in the petroleum prices was a move to victimize people, a statement on Sunday said.

He said continuous increase in the petroleum prices had nothing to do with the international situation as the same government had amassed billions of dollars from the people when oil prices were much lower in the world.
