KARACHI: Peace must for investment, says Ibad

KARACHI, March 16: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad said that a peaceful environment was a prerequisite to investment and economic activities, so the government was striving to create such an environment.

He said this at a meeting with the federal minister for industries, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, at the Governor’s House on Sunday.

They exchanged views on matters of mutual interests, besides discussing the ongoing efforts for maintenance of law and order, industrial and economic activities and various development schemes.

Mr Jatoi assured the governor of all possible cooperation of the federal government for the efforts being made for attracting investment and for economic revival.—APP
