Doctor booked for rape

SHEIKHUPURA, March 15: A doctor was booked for raping a patient at the Shahkot rural health centre (RHC).

Police said on Saturday a married woman went to the RHC for medical checkup where the doctor on duty intoxicated and raped her.

The woman informed her husband and brother about the incident, who lodged a complaint with the EDO (health) against the doctor. During preliminary investigation, the EDO found Dr. Muhammad Ashraf guilty and got registered a case against him.—APP
