Small industries plots restored

GUJRANWALA, March 15: The Punjab Small Industries Corporation restored commercial plots of small industries Estate No 2 till the end of this month on the local chamber of commerce and industries appeal, and issued notification on Saturday.

Reports said Punjab Small Industries Corporation cancelled all the commercial plots of the estate on the charge of not starting the construction by owners two weeks ago. However, the chamber of commerce and industry appealed to the corporation to restore the commercial plots so that industrialists could start construction work.

Chamber President Khwaja Tahir Hassan thanked corporation for restoring commercial plots and asked its owners to start work without delay.

EXHIBITION: The third Made in Gujranwala exhibition will start on Monday at Gulshan-i-Iqbal park situated along the Grand Trunk Road. It will continue till April 9.

This was stated by local chamber of commerce and industry president in a press release issued on Saturday. He said the local industrialists and manufacturers would set up stalls at the exhibition.

He appealed to the manufacturers to display quality products at the exhibition to attract exporters.

A a press release issued on Saturday quoted Gepco spokes-man as saying that power shutdown would continue till March 29.

Meanwhile, Gepco sub-divisions issued the shutdown programme to its feeders, and issued notification the same day.
