Trials for ISAF youth championship

KARACHI, March 12: Trials to select a four member, three boys and one girl - team for taking part in the International Sailing Federation (SAF) youth sailing championship will be held in the open sea near Oyster Rocks under the burgee of Pakistan Navy Aquatic Club.

As per ISAF rules sailors under 19 years of age on Dec 31, 2003, could take part in the trials. Pakistan will be participating in 420 (two boys), Laser Standard (one boy) and Laser Radial (one girl).

Those interested to compete in the trials should contact Pakistan Sailing Federation for further details. The championship is scheduled to be held at Madeira, Portugal, during July 17-26.
