Balakot Road to be reopened soon: NHA
ISLAMABAD, March 11: National Highway Authority (NHA) is striving to reopen Balakot Road that was blocked due to torrential rain, heavy snowfall and land slide in the area.
A spokesman for the authority said Frontier Works Organization (FWO) was actively engaged in clearing and reopening the road, but facing problems due to continuing rain and heavy snowfall.
He said the FWO men were on high alert and working hard to restore the road link. Work is in full swing and the road will be opened soon, he added.
