KARACHI, March 11: The Board of Intermediate Education on Tuesday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Part II, supplementary examinations, 2002, Science Group (Pre-Medical).

According to statistics, out of the total 3,443 candidates who appeared for the exams, 1,296 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 37.64.

Of the total number of candidates appeared, 936 were male and 2,507 were females, whereas 293 male and 1,003 females were declared successful, respectively.

Only two candidates secured A grade, both of them females, while 14 were placed in B grade, of whom 11 were female and three were male.

The number of those who secured C grade was 456, with 385 females and 71 males.

As many as 801 candidates secured D grade, of whom 597 were female and 204 were male, whereas 20 candidates were placed in E grade, comprising 15 male and five female candidate.

A BIEK announcement said the marks statements would be issued after two weeks.

Humanities group: The BIEK on Tuesday also notified the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate Part II, supplementary examinations, 2002, of the Humanities Group- (regular and private).

According to statistics, out of the total 5,045 regular candidates, who appeared for the examinations, 2,140 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 42.42.

Out of the 3,751, who appeared as the private candidates, 1,532 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 40.84.—APP
