PM stresses welfare of expatriates


ISLAMABAD, March 5: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Wednesday that the government accorded high priority to the welfare of Pakistani community abroad and would spare no effort in resolving their problems.

Talking to Birmingham Lord Mayor Mahmood Hussain, who called on him at Prime Minister’s House, he assured full cooperation in promoting the welfare of Pakistanis settled abroad.

He expressed the hope that the mayor would contribute substantially towards the welfare of the expatriate community in the United Kingdom.—APP
