JOHANNESBURG, March 4: Pakistan were dumped out of the World Cup on Tuesday when their final match against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo was abandoned due to rain.

This ranks as the worst showing by a Pakistan team in the World Cup since the inaugural event was held in England in 1975.
