MUZAFFARABAD, March 4: The Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir, here on Monday, upheld the judgment of the high court and reinstated Khwaja Nazir Ahmed Qadri as custodian, evacuee property, with all consequential benefits, from the date of his removal by the present government.

The full bench, comprising Chief Justice Muhammad Younas Surakhvi, Justice Khwaja Mohammad Saeed and ad-hoc judge, Justice Chaudhry Mohammad Taj, unanimously dismissed the appeal of Sardar Mohammad Azim Zia against the high court judgment, delivered in April last year, whereby the removal of Mr Qadri was declared illegal.
