Nation urged to forge unity


ISLAMABAD, March 4: President Pervez Musharraf has urged the nation to put behind all prejudices and forge unity in its ranks for evolving an ambience of peace, love, harmony and brotherhood and devote all energies to make Pakistan stronger.

In a message on the beginning of Muharramul Haram, the first month of the Hijri calendar, the president underlined the importance of following the Islamic teachings and appealed to the nation to promote values of unity, sacrifice and mutual cooperation for peaceful atmosphere and prosperity.

“On this occasion, I appeal to the nation that in view of regional and international conditions, we should put behind all prejudices and forge unity in our ranks so that an ambience of peace, love and brotherhood is evolved in the country.”
