KARACHI, March 4: The Karachi Building Control Authority has taken notice of continued commercial activities on plots reserved for residential and other purposes and decided to initiate action against all illegally constructed marriage halls, private schools and hospitals, a list of which has been prepared.
The issue was reviewed at length at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Controller, Brig (Retd) A.S. Nasir.
The chief controller directed all the officers to issue a three-day notice to all such marriage halls, private schools and hospitals established on plots for residential and other purposes.
He said through the notice, the owners be told that if they did not approach the KBCA within three days for regularization of their illegal ventures, the same should either be sealed or demolished.—APP
