QUETTA, March 2: Lightning struck and killed a mother and her two children on Sunday evening in Rakhani, some 350 km north-east of here in Barkhan district.
The victims were on their way home when lightning struck during heavy rain and thunderstorm, killing the mother and children on the spot.
The woman, 40, was identified as Jannat Bibi, but the names of her two children— son and daughter— could not be ascertained.
