HYDERABAD: Hunger strike

HYDERABAD, March 1: A group of people, women and children, observed a token hunger strike outside the press club to seek solution to problems of Sehrish Nagar.

Led by a councillor of UC-1, Qasimabad, Shamim Chandio, the protesters said that land grabbers had occupied several plots in Sehrish Nagar, which should be got vacated.

They demanded action against officials of the Hyderabad Development Authority.

The protesters also demanded jobs for the jobless youth of their area.
