SUKKUR: SHC has three arrested

SUKKUR, Feb 26: On the directives of the Sindh High Court, Sukkur bench, the Gudhpur police arrested Maulvi Mohammed Usman, who solemnized the Nikah of a nine-year-old girl, Hasina, along with her so-called husband, Bashir Ahmed Chachar, and an influential landlord, Bakhtiar Chachar, from the court’s premises on Wednesday.

The double bench of the Sindh High Court, Sukkur bench, which consisted of Justice Ghulam Nabi Soomro and Justice Mohammed Afzal Soomro, directed the police to register an FIR against all the three accused and ordered that the girl be medically examined.
