KARACHI, Feb 25: The provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Syed Shoaib Bukhari, has asked all the district governments to complete their development schemes under Annual Development Programme 2002-2003 within the next four months, according to an announcement made here on Tuesday.

The 16 district governments had been provided more than Rs3.874 billion for the year 2002-2003. An amount of Rs1.187 billion was allocated for new development schemes from the funds.

According to the breakup, Karachi had received Rs810 million share, Hyderabad Rs432.203 million, Dadu Rs240 million, Larkana Rs231 million, Mirpurkhas Rs208 million, Sanghar Rs200 million, Thatta Rs191 million, Badin Rs193 million, Jacobabad Rs197 million, Tharparkar Rs 192 million, Khairpur Rs184 million, Sukkur Rs149 million, Nawabshah Rs168 million, Ghotki Rs167 million, Naushehro Feroz Rs171 million and Shikarpur Rs141 million.—APP
