Two robbers arrested
HYDERABAD, Feb 24: The Husri police on Monday arrested two car snatchers following a brief encounter.
A car was snatched near Sheikh Bhirkio and was taken to Hyderabad.
The Husri police, who were on duty near Tando Fazal, asked the occupants of the car to stop. But instead of stopping, its two occupants opened fire on the police. The police retaliated as a result of which both the men immediately surrendered themselves to the police.
The two men, Altaf and Mustafa Birhamani, turned out to be car snatchers and were taken into custody.—BoC
